ScriptX works with all document modes from IE 5 onwards, this includes ScriptX 8.
ScriptX 8 and later are developed to work with Internet Explorer 11 and all the document modes and standards that Internet Explorer 11 supports via meta tags, DOCTYPE tag or Enterprise Mode on Windows 7 and Windows 10.
If you are using an earlier version of Windows (Windows XP or earlier) or an earlier version of Internet Explorer (IE 10 or earlier) then you are strongly urged to upgrade. But, if this is not possible, then ScriptX 7.7 or later is the supported version of ScriptX for Internet Explorer 6 or later on Windows 2000 or later. Please note that this is the support for the browser and the host OS not the document mode in use.
The samples on this site do not work well with older document modes/enforced standards limits because they use recent versions of the jQuery and Bootstrap libraries.
Issues are due to these libraries not due to problems in ScriptX.
To work with ScriptX.Addon with older style html then please see our All docmodes samples . They appear older in style due to the limitations of the older docmodes but they continue to be very effective.
